Diwali is the Hindu "Festival of Lights". It is celebrated every autumn of the Northern Hemisphere. It is a representation of "victory of light over darkness" and "good over evil". The preparations/rituals last for five days, but the most prominent celebrations occur on the third day. On this day, people will celebrate by wearing nice clothes, filling their houses with candles & lamps, set off fireworks, and have a family feast.
