Volunteer's Needed:

Opportunity for Lasell students to connect with other students and the Newton community!

Historic Newton’s annual Hayfest will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jackson Homestead & Museum (527 Washington Street, Newton). This family-friendly day of fall fun includes activities such as dipping candles, pressing apples, churning butter, playing games, and more. Volunteers are instrumental in helping Historic Newton run this day of fun for all.

There are two main shifts to choose from, plus the option to help with additional setup or cleanup. You can select one or multiple shifts. During your volunteer shift you may be facilitating an activity, welcoming visitors, and/or providing refreshments. You're welcome to sign up with a friend or group!

Please fill out this form to sign up for a shift. After signing up, a Historic Newton staff member will reach out to you to confirm your submission. The 4 - 5 pm shift is cleanup. You'll receive a reminder and more information during the last week of September.

Questions before then:
